Voice Therapy

DM Speech Pathology specialises in voice therapy for professional voice users (singers, teachers, actors, etc.) and general voice problems.
The voice can be affected by vocal behaviours and general health.  Indications of a voice disorder include:
  • persistent hoarseness or breathiness
  • excess clearing of throat
  • vocal fatigue
  • reduced vocal range
  • reduced vocal volume
  • vocal tremor
  • increased or decreased pitch
  • changes in singing voice

Before contacting a Speech Pathologist, it is recommended that clients arrange an appointment with an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon (ENT) in order to determine the cause of their vocal difficulties.
