David has been a certified practicing Speech Pathologist since 2012 after he graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology Studies from the University of Queensland in 2011. He began his professional career as a singer and singing teacher majoring in classical voice and pedagogy at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He works as a generalist Speech Pathologist with both adults and children and has a special interest in improving voices. He has worked in private practice since 2012 and has visited clients in their homes, in the clinic, in nursing homes and in hospitals. He is a certified Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) practitioner for clients with Parkinson's Disease. He still enjoys singing as a tenor with the Opera Queensland chorus.
